I Publicize
This post is yet another dedication to the wonderful work done by WordPress Team.
Publicize – is a notification that is sent out to an site/s whenever you add/update posts on your blog, it works like a Push thing & not a Pull. This is one feature every(famous) blogger wanted (after they heard about it). It faster than our beloved RSS Feed, which depends on the Feed Reader to pull the details. So, if you are a famous blogger & have a huge readers base, you got to use this.
Till recently WP supported only one site where you could Publicize your updates, it was Yahoo!Updates (do ppl still use that!!!). But now, they added support for Twitter…
Yes, you all micro blogger!!! Now whenever you publish your blog, WP will push a tweet altering all your followers about it.
Am very excited about this functionality…
Hope to see more useful features like this in the near future.

This has been a long break for me, almost 8 months. I never thought that I would be back, but Guess What? Am Back. Not planning on a serious comeback, whenever I find an interesting topic to blog about, I’ll just post a link to that site 
Also, there is one more thing special about this post. Am posting it through my email. Cool… isn’t it? WordPress, always has something up its sleeve.
I clearly remember when I started blogging, I used to own a blog at blogger.com & I was a power-user there. I would always mess around with my site template, keep adding stuff to it, etc,… One fine day, my office firewall started blocking blogger, I was screwed & that was the end of life for me. I had never imagined a life with blogging (lol) & I was so used to Blogger, that even the slightest thought of switching to another site made me uncomfortable.
One of my friend(HP) advised me to check out WordPress. It was love at first sight for me. Something was so right about this blogging site, that I decided to ditch blogger & move over to WordPress for good. WordPress also let me move all my old Blogger posts to their account, that was like cherry on top of the cake. I have never looked back since. Even though I can no longer screw my site’s templates & customize it to my will(I won’t stop cribbing about it). I can choose a theme for my site from the 100 options available, I can add widgets (huge collection of widgets) to my site. The new DashBoard for WordPress has stunning UI (User Interface… duh!), everything is so organized that you will never get lost. I love this one thing on my Dashboard, whenenver I look at it, it makes me smile. It’s the Welcome Message that WordPress has, it goes “Howdy, Kurt”, it’s a small thing but I guess it’s their way of saying, “Relax, no pressure, enjoy your stay here & we won’t kick you out if you don’t submit a post in the next 10 mins”…
All in all a great Blogging site, with many useful features including Blog Stats, Polls, Storage Options, etc…
There would be many other blogs with same or enhanced features, but I am here to stay.

But it snowed…
This ain’t a new song by Parikrama.
But today it snowed here & it was the first time in my life that i saw snow fall.
I was ecstatic at the phenomena, had never seen anything like this in my entire life.
It painted everything in white, covered everything under its blanket.
hoooooooooo… woooooooowwww..
I know a lot of people hate snow, but i dont understand why do they hate it so much. 
This is one of the happiest day of my stay her.
Looking forward to more snow clad days in the near future & then i’ll come back & write how much i hate it

Jinxed
The other day i was sitting & talking to my friends abt the inhuman attacks in Mumbai & something stuck me. It is a very obvious thing & am sure many would have already thought abt it…
It was the date that Mumbai was attacked… 26th Nov, 2008, i would ask you all to register the date 26 in your mind.
If we go back in time & run this date in your memories, you find the following :
1. 26th Jan, 2001 – Bhuj EarthQuake
2. 26th Dec, 2004 – Tsunami in Indian Ocean
3. 26th July, 2006 – Mumbai Floods
4. 26th Nov, 2008 – Terrorists attack Mumbai
These are a few major events that i can remember & please note the dates, they are all the same.
Am not saying that the Terrorists picked up the date on purpose.
Its just that i feel India is Jinxed with the Date 26.
I think we should ban the Date 26, something like the US did to Number 13.
Also ppl, beware of all the other 26’s that we have in all the other months.
Lastly let us all pray together to break this horrible JINX…

What Happened???
Me: What happened?

Me(Again): WHAT HAPPENED IN THERE?
My Friend(Again): WHATTTT???
This would be a normal discussion once you come out of a Multiplex, after watching a worthless movie called “The Happening”. Of all the useless movies i have seen, this one Tops the Charts… Its a total waste of time, money, talent & ….. Am jolted by the movie(if we can call it a Movie). So, plz dont expect any details abt the storyline in here, i want to get it out of my system as soon as possible. Today i know what it feels like when people Dope, i was stoned in my cushion seat for abt 5 mins after the movie ended.
Thankfully, we missed 10 minutes of the start, coz one of my friend was late by 10 minutes. We were really angry abt it earlier & we gave him a good beating for coming late, but after the movie we were glad tht he came late & we again gave him a good beating for coming late by just 10 mins
After seeing movies like The Village, Lady in the Water & now The Happening I can now safely say that I was a Big Fan of the Director “Knight Shyamalan“. These poor films have totally eclipsed all the good work done by Shyamalan. I hope he gets his act right soon enough.
Also, he should never direct any movies without Bruce Wills and/or Joaquin Phoenix, they are his lucky mascots…
One last thing, i would like to ask Mr. Knight Shyamalan, “What Happened???”
