Billable or non-Billable…

Yeah you read it rite…
This is a true story abt Kurt’s professional life…

Kurt has been in the Software Industry for almost 2 1/2 yrs now and till date he’s been a non-billable resource. He had no problems with it, but somewhere deep inside him, he alwyez wanted to be billable resource. I guess he’s the last person from his training batch who’s gonna be billable(not sure though), most of the guys were billable from Day 1.

Only 3 ppl from his batch were non-billable and it included himself, Snehal & uTTAM. The most intelligent of the lot were choosen to be non-billable (you see this is my blog & am free to write anything & everything :D). As a non-billable resource all the 3 stooges had gained a lot of knowledge & weight πŸ˜€ . Due to lack of oppurtunity to perform most of their knowledge has gone or is going down the drain.

Snehal & uTTAM have been billable for a long time now…
Now KURT is the only one remaining, who has not experienced the so-called Project Pressure
Now that he has been assigned to a Client project, lets wait n watch how his ass gets kicked…

Hopefully he gonna be BILLABLE after 2.5 yrs…
Lets come together and wish him luck…
So tht he finallyyyyyyyyy becomes a BILLABLE resource…

njoi,
Vinod.

    @Kurt

    Finally chotte…

    Abt the work .tis not much different there. Only the ppl we r answerable to are .

    Waise I hav been assigned to a project here but tis not a billable one. (Dont get me wrong here) Since tis product support tis already written into the contact tht they will support it for free for so and so yrs. the actual product support which is support from one of the support centres onsite or from their 24/7 support centres in UK and some other areas. SO i am just carrying fwd the legacy here.
